In-Person

Individuals can get supplies by coming into our Bad River Harm Reduction building. Staff will provide assistance using a low barrier approach; no names are required, and supplies are available to anyone regardless of tribal affiliation or no tribal affiliation.
While you are here you are welcome to eat, shower, do laundry, or spend time in our building. Peer support specialists are here to visit with you about your goals and how they can help you achieve them. We can also assist in making and attending appointments, finding transportation, resources and contact information.

Home Delivery

Since the start in 2015, community members provide home delivery of harm reduction supplies for 4 counties. (Ashland Co, Iron Co, Bayfield Co, and Price Co.) This is a delivery method that we found to be effective that reaches people who use drugs in rural communities that are concerned about remaining anonymous and discrete.
If you are interested in learning more about this service, or would like to request a delivery, please email us at harmreductionTA@badriver-nsn.gov or call 715-685-7844. Please note that we may not respond immediately if you call outside of business hours or on weekends/holidays.

Public Health Vending Machines

Ashland County Health and Human Services provided multiple public health vending machines throughout Ashland county., These locations include, Ashland County Health & Human Services, Ashland Country Fire Department, The Smoke Shop. and the Public Saftey Building in Odanah.
